“Thank you again for making our experience at First Unitarian a truly meaningful, pleasurable and memorable one. Because of your knowledgeable and caring assistance, Eliot Chapel was not a rented facility but a spiritual home for the two families joined on a most joyous day.” Janis Werschkul – Mother of the Bride
“Our wedding planning journey was made easy with Holli Nicknair and the First Unitarian Church. Holli was a tremendous help. She asked all the questions that we hadn't even thought of and she was very reassuring, patient and innovative. Having the ceremony and reception in the same location made the whole event flow very smoothly and effortlessly. In the Buchan Room we were able to fit a 12-piece band, DJ's and equipment, food and dining tables and space for dancing. We also put a few dining tables in the adjacent courtyard leaving plenty of room for mingling and dancing. The First Unitarian Church staff complemented our caterers and were extremely attentive and flexible. Holli provided all the necessary guidance for keeping our wedding and reception on track. We both feel that Holli was an invaluable resource. Thanks to her and the First Unitarian Church our special day was made possible!” Tim and Christine Truszkowski, married July 18, 2009
